Conscious Coaching Course
With weekly live coaching discussions, training in communication skills, and strategies for overcoming imposter syndrome, we provide comprehensive guidance to help you achieve your coaching goals.
Hi, if you don’t know me, I am…
A 66-time Ironman finisher and former professional triathlete.
A veteran coach who now focuses on helping athletes uncover their untapped reservoir of inner strength to achieve their goals in endurance sports and beyond.
A mentor who assists fellow athletes who are interested in utilizing their skills, experience, and expertise to establish a coaching business similar to the one I have created.
My favorite thing to talk about is…
Helping coaches understand the nuances of each individual athlete and how to set them up for success.
With 18 years of experience as a professional endurance sports coach, I've had the privilege of supporting a wide range of athletes, from adult-onset athletes training for their first endurance events to professional athletes chasing records and podiums, to expectant mothers desiring to race ultramarathons and Ironmans during their pregnancies.
What makes this job so exciting is that with each athlete comes a new dynamic and a new challenge, providing opportunities for us both to grow. As a coach, I help you read and understand your athletes, evaluating the best way to challenge and support them on their journeys. I've learned how to identify each athlete's unique formula for success, and I can teach you how to do the same.
Working with athletes is incredibly rewarding, and I'm passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with other coaches. Whether you're just starting your coaching journey or looking to take your coaching practice to the next level, I can help you develop the skills you need to support your athletes effectively.
If you desire to train athletes and:

Hillary’s Motto:
“Nothing worth doing is easy, and nothing easy is worth doing.”
Hillary has over 15 years of coaching experience and she raced as a professional ironwoman for a decade. She was the most prolific iron-distance competitor on the professional women’s racing circuit, completing 66 iron-distance triathlons, and winning Ironman Wisconsin in 2008 just a week after finishing 4th at Ironman Louisville. In 2013 she won the Ultraman World Championship title, ahead of all but two men. Prior to becoming a professional triathlete, Hillary raced triathlons as an age grouper for 4 years. She also swam in college at USC and competed in the US Olympic Swimming Trials in 2000.
Hillary has coached athletes through all of these phases of life, and she loves helping athletes make training work with life or helping athletes maximize those years where training and racing IS life. Each presents its own special challenges and figuring out the winning recipe for each of her athletes is truly what drives Hillary.
Hillary loves helping her athletes discover their own untapped reservoir of inner strength.
What this looks like from one athlete to the next is often very different–for some it may be surviving the swim in a short triathlon, while for others it may be doing two Ironmans in a week. She has learned that if the desire is there, when we are challenged in the right ways, we can find more physical and mental strength inside of us than we ever knew we had.
